Saw the Off-Broadway Beebo Brinker last weekend and I love-loved it! I never saw the downtown production, but heard good things from reliable sources. Having read the original books, I was impressed by the playwrights' ability to compress 5 books into a 90 minute show without glossing over the individual stories, struggles, and personality of the characters.

If I had say one thing, it's riotously funny and yet touching...hmmm...ok that's two things.

check it out before it closes!

Ditto! Come see this show now!

I did see it downtown and the edginess and rawness has been completely preserved. If anything the production has improved greatly with the a new actress in the title role. Jenn Colella is hot hot hot and really lends her talents to the production.

This closes 4/27!

I never saw the downtown production, but I saw the play last night and it was awesome! So much funnier than I expected it to be.

And I agree with Sally P... Jenn Colella is really hot (as are all the ladies in the cast.) The tickets aren't expensive, and the show is really fun. I definitely recommend it!

I still need to see this! It's closing this weekend.

Got tickets for closing night on Sunday night. I'm so giddy to finally see what everyone has been talking about :)
