Original Casts of HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE and THE DYING GAUL Reunite

The Vineyard Theater will reunite the casts of two of their biggest hits - How I Learned To Drive and The Dying Gaul for two, one-night-only readings this summer.

Original director, Mark Brokaw will again direct Cotter Smith, Robert Emmet Lunney, Linda Emond and Tim Hopper in Craig Lucas' The Dying Gaul on Monday June 24th.

And on Monday, July 1st, Mary-Louise Parker and David Morse will read Paula Vogel's Pulitzer Prize-winning How I Learned To Drive.

A Conversation with Nicky Silver

The Drama Book Shop will present A Conversation with Nicky Silver, who will discuss and read from his work, including his newest black comedy, The Lyons, which premiered Off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theatre before moving to Broadway – to great acclaim – last spring. William Eno's MIDDLETOWN

Currently at the Vineyard Theater, through December 5th, William Eno's MIDDLETOWN is a must-see. Like a contemporary version of Thornton Wilder's OUR TOWN, MIDDLETOWN tells universal truths vis a vie everyday details and it is at once hilarious and heart-breaking. The cast is absolutely perfect and a few, James McMenamin, Heather Burns and Georgia Engel being sublime! This should definitely be on the Pulitzer short list.
